About Course

Welcome to the 21-Day Entrepreneur Challenge aimed at helping you unlock greater entrepreneurial potential and success. This course focuses on skills that are important for entrepreneurs, but also skills that entrepreneurs tend to struggle with. Though my core focus is to help entrepreneurs achieve greater success, everyone who applies what they learn here will benefit.
And that brings us to the second important point, if you just listen to this information and do not apply it, nothing will change in your life. Even if you just pick one thing and apply it, you will be exponentially better off, so apply what you learn.

Day 1
Today, we're diving into a topic that's familiar to many of us: overcoming procrastination. Whether you're an entrepreneur, freelancer, or anyone striving to achieve goals, procrastination can be a significant barrier to productivity and success. So, let's explore some strategies to conquer this common challenge.

  • Day 1
    07:26

Day 2
Today, we’re talking about the importance of goal setting in entrepreneurship. Do you know why most people never achieve their goals? Because they don’t have any. So let’s start with a seemingly silly question, what is a goal? Let’s use the analogue of building a house. What on earth do you want your dream house to look like? You need a blueprint of what you want it to look like. This finished product is a goal. In the same way, it is jolly useful to know what you want your life to look like, and have a number of goals written down that will allow you to build that life.

Day 3
Personal branding is crucial for entrepreneurs because it helps you stand out in a crowded market, build trust with your audience, and ultimately, drive your business forward. Firstly, you need to Define Your Brand Identity. A strong personal brand starts with understanding who you are and what you stand for.

Day 4
As entrepreneurs, your time is one of your most valuable resources. Managing it well can make a significant difference in your productivity and overall business growth. Let's explore some practical tools and strategies to help you make the most of your time. Firstly, we will discuss different tools you can use prioritize your time, then we will look at some handy tools and apps that you could use to do it in practice and lastly, we will look at an implementation plan, so that you can actually see results.

Day 5
Today, we'll delve into the power of mindset in shaping your entrepreneurial success. Who comes to mind when you think of a successful, intelligent and talented person? Perhaps someone like Elon Musk, whose improvements to rocket launches, electric cars and Starlink have ‘rocketed’ him to success. But, while Elon is a highly intelligent and talented individual, he wasn't born a success. And he didn't develop rockets that could land again in one day, or even on his own. It took a long, slow process of curiosity, dedication and hard work, and of mindset mastery. So, let’s explore how mastering your mindset can pave the way to lasting success for YOU! Your mindset is the foundation of how you approach challenges, handle setbacks, and grow both personally and professionally.

Day 6
Today new will be focusing on ‘Navigating Failure”. As entrepreneurs, failure is not just a possibility; it is inevitable. But rather than seeing it as a setback, we should view failure as a stepping stone to growth and success. This session is designed to give you practical tools and strategies to overcome the fear of failure and leverage it to your advantage. Nothing is going to change until we change our mindset about failure. Failure isn’t the end; it’s a part of the journey. Think of it as feedback, not defeat.

Day 7
Today we will be focusing on The Power of Networking. So why do we need to Network? Networking is about building relationships before you need them. It’s a proactive approach to creating a support system that can help you both personally and professionally. As Harvey Mackay who wrote the book “Dig your well before you’re thirsty” says, “Networking is a contact sport; it’s all about actively making connections and developing relationships before you need them, not when you are desperate.”

Day 8
Today we will be focusing on ‘Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs’ and I can tell you already, you have probably never heard some of the insights I am going to share with you today. Most businesses NEVER last for more than 3 years and most of them never make a profit, like never, ever. I know that is hard to believe, but the reason is because most people go about it in the wrong way.

Day 9
Today we will be focusing on Marketing Essentials. As you can imagine, in 10 minutes, we can only cover the very tip of the marketing iceberg. Without marketing, you don’t have a business. Without effective marketing, even the best products or services can go unnoticed. Marketing is the bridge between what you offer and your potential customers. You need to realise that your business wants to grow. If it is not growing, it is probably something you are doing or not doing and for many people, the not doing is marketing.

Day 10
Today we will be focusing on ‘The Art of Negotiation’. Whether you're seeking funding, forming partnerships, or making sales, strong negotiation skills can significantly impact your business success." We will cover the importance of negotiation, key principles of effective negotiation and practical techniques and strategies. Negotiation is at the heart of entrepreneurship.

Day 11
Today the topic is ‘Is there such a thing as work / life balance’ for entrepreneurs? For entrepreneurs and business owners, the pressure to work all the time can feel like the only way to get ahead. Entrepreneurs possess a unique combination of traits like commitment, perseverance, and motivation that can build a business from the ground up. For many, the hardest part of the job is maintaining a healthy work-life balance. But work-life balance for entrepreneurs is essential for creativity, productivity, and the sustainability of any business.

Day 12
Today the topic is ‘Innovation and creativity and we will be focusing on strengthening your creativity skills. My goal is to provide you with practical techniques and examples that you can apply in your business immediately. Let's dive right in!" First, let's clarify what we mean by creativity and adaptability. Creativity is the skill of thinking differently from yourself. I know that sounds weird, but if you keep thinking like you always did, you will not create new outcomes. It’s about generating new ideas and solving problems in innovative ways. Adaptability, on the other hand, focuses on shifting your identity and perspective to meet challenges head-on and foster new ideas. Both are essential for entrepreneurs. Now, let’s explore some practical techniques to enhance your creativity."

Day 13
Today the topic is ‘Building a Winning Team from scratch” and my goal is to provide you with practical strategies and examples to help you build a successful team. One of the best books I have read for entrepreneurs is "The E-Myth Revisited" by Michael Gerber. He explains how small businesses often fail because the entrepreneur assumes that just because they know how to do the technical work of a business, they know how to run a business. This misconception often leads to failures because being good at a technical skill doesn’t mean you're equipped to handle the complexities of managing a business."

Day 14
Today the topic is ‘Embracing Change’. Have you ever tried to change your partner so that they behave the way you want them to? I am guessing that did not work out well. It is far easier to change things within your control, it is far easier to change yourself. The reason we tend to stay stuck is that we expect everyone else and everything else to change, but we are very reluctant to change ourselves. When your life feels stuck and you can't change what's happening around you, change yourself. You might not be able to control the world, but you can control how you react to it, and by doing that, change your world one thought, one word and one action at a time.

Day 15
Today we are chatting about Customer Service Excellence and we are going off the beaten track and looking at 8 counter-intuitive customer service facts. In the early 1900s when this phrase was coined, it meant treating customers with respect and dignity, something that wasn’t commonplace in those times. While the idea that customers deserve respect is absolutely true, the fact is the customer is not always right. Here are a few reasons why “the customer is always right” can be a problematic customer service mantra.

Day 16
Today we are chatting about Social Media Mastery. I have noticed that every social media marketer on the planet wants to know what the secret formula is to social media marketing. What I've come to discover is that there isn't one formula that fits all, and that successful marketing is dependent upon a lot of research, taking risk and learning from your own trial and error.

Day 17
Today I will be diving into strategies for growing and scaling your business, inspired by Mike Michalowicz's insightful book "Fix This Next. The biggest problem entrepreneurs have is that they don’t know what their biggest problem is. If you are spending most of your days putting out fires, you are in the survival trap. Entrepreneurs pride themselves on being able to put out fires. They love to tackle problems — to calm irritated customers, to send out proposals, to make sales presentations ...and the list goes on and on. The problem is if you stay in firefighter mode forever, all you end up doing is running around in circles, and getting nowhere.

Day 18
We are going to help entrepreneurs find some sanity and quality of life again as we chat about Stress Management. “I am a workaholic. I work 16 hours a day!!” These are scary words we often hear from entrepreneurs. The shocking truth is that so many entrepreneurs still wear it as a badge of honour. It is no wonder the burnout rate of entrepreneurs and their businesses is so high. I need to ask you a very important question. Are you putting your well-being before your business? If you are, well done, you are one of the few who do. If not, I want you to repeat this mantra: “Me before business.” Oh, I can hear your responses now. “But you don’t understand. I am my business, Bev!”” Yes I do understand, I am also an entrepreneur. But you can’t run your business if you are no longer in business because you burnt out.

Day 19
Though you will be learning about leadership from other leaders, I am not suggesting that you imitate other leaders, that you try to be who they are. A great leader can only be a great leader in their own skin. That is why introverts, extroverts and all kinds of other people can become good leaders in their own way. There is no 'best' way to be a great leader. But there is only one way to be a good one: 'your way.' John Maxwell said "The true measure of leadership is influence: nothing more, nothing less." It does not matter what your title is, who you are leading, or what your vision is. Everything boils down to influence.

Day 20
In the fast-paced world of business, staying still is not an option. Continuous learning is not just a luxury; it’s a necessity to stay relevant and competitive. Today, our topic is Investing in Self-Development and we'll explore why this is a critical success factor in your entrepreneurial journey. Let’s start by looking at some vital learning skills that will set you up for success.

Day 21
Welcome to the very last day, Day 21 of our 21-day journey toward unlocking greater entrepreneurial potential and success. Today we are chatting about a topic that entrepreneurs tend to be very bad at, celebrating success. I want you to listen to the examples I am going to give you about how some very well-known companies celebrate success. The aim is to give you some ideas about how you can celebrate your successes and if you have a team, how you can reward them. OK, OK, maybe in a slightly scaled down way and within your budget.
